Director of Music & Worship: Kent Miller was born in Louisville, Ky. into a rich Methodist tradition. His father and both grandfathers were Methodist pastors and he was raised in church…twice on Sunday and Wednesday night potluck and prayer service. Kent has two older brothers who live with their wives in Illinois and Virginia and despite the distance remain a very close family. He and Libby, who have been married for 20+ years, have four children; Anne, Katy, Aly and Miles and two dogs Daisy and Bailey. Kent grew up attending the Versailles Methodist church when his family moved to Versailles in 1966 and was a faithful member until 1992 when he became the Associate Music Director at Centenary United Methodist church in Lexington, Ky. He served there until coming back home to Versailles in 2003. He is also a full-time employee of the Bluegrass Regional Mental Health / Mental Retardation and serves as the Regional Director of Service Area Administration for the seventeen counties of the Board. In 2006 he completed his Bachelor’s degree in Organizational Management at Midway College and hopes to obtain his MBA in the near future. Kent has always had a passion for music and a heart for the Lord and the two have meshed to form a unique blend of contemporary style with strong traditional roots. One of his favorite gospel quartets is the Gaither Vocal band. He also loves the music of Geron Davis, Kirk Franklin, Larnelle Harris, Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman, Stephen Curtis Chapman, Michael English and many more. His favorite choir (other than the one he directs) is the Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir and he was blessed to rehearse and sing with the choir during a recent music leader’s conference. When he isn’t planning, playing, singing or leading worship on Sunday, you will most likely find him camping, spending time with family or just relaxing at home.
Academy Director: Stacy Fugate has been working at the Academy since May 2005.  She loves working with children and the joy they bring into her life.  Stacy graduated from Eastern Kentucky University.  She has a degree in Corrections and Juvenile Services.  She has worked at the Methodist Children’s Home and in emergency shelters for children.   Stacy has been married for 12 years and has two daughters.
