To Become a Fellowship of Believers Growing Together in Christ.
Definition of Life Group at VUMC:

Group of 3-12 people who come together on a
Regular basis for a shared purpose and have
One identified and trained leader who
Understands the purpose of the group is to grow Christ-likeness by
Providing an environment for community and Spiritual growth		 Library
Who?  Everyone!
When? Most groups meet weekly for 1-1 1/2 hours
Where? Groups meet at different locations--the church or in the community.
How? Call the church office or email Life Groups

WHY ARE LIFE GROUPS IMPORTANT ?

Life Groups offer a place and a time for authentic Christian community.  So it is our belief that a church built on Life Groups will become a community that can reach a wider community – this is God’s will for his people, this is worth giving ourselves for one life at a time.

WHAT IS A LIFE GROUP ?

The purpose of a Life Group is to be a place of transformation into the likeness of our Saviour !  This happens when the leaders and members of each Life Group engage earnestly in the following healthy habits:

growing closer through FELLOWSHIP
growing stronger through WORSHIP
growing deeper through DISCIPLESHIP
growing broader through MINISTRY
growiing larger through EVANGELISM
