Adult Chancel Choir is a diverse group of believers who enjoy praising the Lord through singing traditional hymns and classic octavos! This vocal group sings during the 9:00am worship service and will combine with Celebration Singers to share special seasonal programs throughout the year. Although no audition is required, it is helpful to have a song in your heart and an ear for music. Ages of members range from high school students to seasoned citizens. The Chancel Choir rehearses weekly on Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 7:30pm.

Celebration Singers is a new addition to the VUMC Music Ministry. This group serves as a worship leading choir to teach new choruses, praise songs and fresh arrangements of hymns. This exciting new ensemble will share special music and join with the Adult Chancel Choir to sing special seasonal programs. Although no audition is required, it is helpful to have a song in your heart and an ear for music. Ages range from high school students to seasoned citizens. The Chancel Choir rehearses weekly on Wednesday evening from 7:30 to 8:30pm.
- Children's Choir invites kids to learn tried and true Sunday school songs and contemporary songs heard in today’s worship services. Grades K thru 2nd and 3rd thru 5th partner with Children's Ministry and meet on Wednesday evenings to sing, dance and play games while learning about the love of God and the special place children hold in the Kingdom.
- The Hand Bell Choir, directed by Vicki Fish, regularly serves the worship experience at VUMC with the uniquely beautiful sound of hand bells. The ensemble is comprised of experienced youth and adults. The ability to read music is preferred, along with a desire to share your gifts of music for the glory of God. Rehearsals take place on Wednesday evening from 6:30 to 7:30pm.
- Voices of Praise ensemble regularly provides worship music from gospel traditions as well as from more contemporary selections and provides special music for worship. Also open to men and women from high school age through adulthood, this ensemble requires one audition and a devoted heart for music and a passion for excellence motivated by the love of Christ. Many members do not read music, but have gifts for singing and a passion for the joyful exuberance found in gospel and praise styles.
