There isn’t much question that in today’s world, the teachings about the Holy Spirit are some of the most confused and misunderstood of them all. We all know of churches and denominations that take the teachings about the Holy Spirit to the extreme. Some are more open to the giftings and the visible aspects of the Spirit’s manifestations. Some like to say the Holy Spirit is the presence of God in our midst, but don't go overboard. Some talk about only the gifts of the Spirit, but tend to forget the work of the Spirit in the lives of people...drawing them to Christ, doing the transforming work in a persons life...and empowering people to do Kingdom work for the glory of God.

Over the next six weeks, we are going to take a fresh, new look at the WORK of the Holy Spirit in the lives of those who follow Jesus. Each week we will look at a characteristic of this third person of the Trinity and be challenged to allow Him to work in our lives in fresh and new ways.
